28 Events in 3 Days - Zero Miles

Just in case anyone has wndering why we haven't updated in the last couple of days, we have been attending the TAM7 conference in Las Vegas.

It included 28 events, speakers, workshops, panel discussions, paper presentations, talent quests, parties.

We haven't left the hotel for the whole time, but that's OK, it is a really big hotel.

The overall subject was Skepticism, and included subjects such as Science in Movies/TV, Pseudoscientific claims, Apocolypse predictions, the Anti-Vaccination movement, and Magicians and Skepticism. We were lectured/entertained by Adam Savage (Mythbusters), Penn and Teller (Magicians - Teller talked as much as anyone), James Randi, Dr Phil Plait, and many other luminaries in the Skeptical Movement. We even got to mingle with and meet with the presenters.

So it hasn't been anything like what people might expect from a Las Vegas visit but has certainly been a highlight of our trip.

We did make time for the odd Margarita
