More Prarie and a New Tyre - 199 miles

Not a great deal to report today. We traveled from South Dakota to North Dakota. We are in about the middle of the two states and have been following the Missouri River, which we have crossed three times.

A couple of weeks ago we found it necessary to prematurely require a new rear tyre. Something to do with too many corners earlier in the trip. This one would not have lasted the remainder of the trip so we ordered a new one and it was eventually delivered to Jack's, but too late for us. So he loaded it on to his trailer and since we met up again, we have been attempting to find a Honda dealer willing to make the changeover.

Today at Mandan, North Dakota we found Open Road Honda and they could not have been more helpful. They fit us in straight away and even allowed us to add Ultra Seal to the tyre while the bike was still on the stand.

Also, Jack had a test ride on a Suzuki Bergman 650 Scooter. He was impressed, but I think Linda prefers her GoldWing back seat.

That done, we moved on to our intended destination, Bismark. Jack and Linda set up at the local KOA, but Charleen and I are staying in a motel while I cough and sneeze my way through this annoying cold.

We enter North Dakota - check out the flashy stripes on the FroggToggs our first wear of our new wet weather gear.
Finally, a break from green grassy hills. These buttes near a jump-up provided some variety.

The bloke's t-shirt reads "Work is that annoying thing between motorcycle rides".
